Frequently Asked Questions

GreenWood / F.A.Q.

Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers!

Where is your showroom?

We are a contractor and customize Office / Home furniture as per our client needs, therefore we do not have a showroom or anything ready available. Everything is made in workshop and delivers after finishing.

Hiring an interior designer: How does it work?

All designers work differently. At GreenWood, we would first have a phone conversation with you to help us evaluate your project and see if we can be of help. We would then offer an initial design consultation at no charge. At this meeting, we will walk through your Home or Office with you and discuss about the specific needs of your interior design or construction project. No actual design is done at this time as we are just doing an evaluation. After this meeting,  if you decide to engage our service, we will send a proposal to you for review.

How do you charge?

We DO NOT charge for visiting, consultation or designing.

What will our project cost?

depends on the level in which you wish to take your project. If you have a specific design budget in mind, we are more than happy to prepare a proposal stating what we can offer while keeping it within your budget.

How do we get started, and what goes on next?

Before we begin work, we require a design layout (if any). We will then work with you on determining some facts and finding out what needs to be done (preferred design styles, requirements for each room, how you live and work in your office/ home, etc.). We will take photographs of the project space as well as measurements, if necessary. From there, we prepare an initial design presentation, showing you our initial drawings, material selections and concepts. Thereafter, we will work with you on narrowing down the final selections and pricing. When everything is finalized, we will proceed to implement the design.

Where do you get your furniture from?

We have our own workshops and specialized labors doing all the carpentry work, so we have better control over quality and are able to provide even better value for you.

What is the difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator?

Interior decorators typically focus on the decorative elements of a home/office, such as paint color, furniture, décor, window treatments, bedding, etc. Designers typically have formal training in their chosen discipline. An interior designer should have knowledge of interior architecture principals, drafting skills, general building code guidelines and other such subjects. We as an interior solution company simply implements your requirement.

What kind of experiences do you have?

All of our designer come from various design-related industries, and they have done many projects ranging from residential to commercial and retail. You may check our clients for the reference.

How long will our project take?

Again, this will vary per project. A typical kitchen remodel may take approximately one month to design and build. A living room remodel may take a month to design, and another month to receive and install all products and furniture. If you are remodeling your Office, the process may take also about a month from start to finish. A custom home design from start to finish may take up to three months to layout and plan the details.

Can I see samples of your work?

The reference work related page on this site has few samples of our office customized design work. Feel free to contact us to visit our most recent projects.

What is your style?

GreenWood adopt styles that are contempory and advises designs that are according to our clients’ preferences, the architecture of the home or building and its natural surroundings while fully optimizing the given budget. We avoids templatised clichés styles and finds ways to bring out our clients’ personality and lifestyle in each space with careful attention to details and intricate design.
